Elbert County EMS currently staffs two 24 hour ALS Ambulances. In addition, the On Duty Supervisor is available to respond to additional calls as needed. During normal business hours, an additional two ALS Ambulances can be staffed by Administrative Personnel. In addition, Elbert County EMS operates Three Extrication Units that are responsible for Vehicle and Industrial Extrication in Elbert County. In 2008, Elbert County EMS responded to 3,381 calls and logged over 93,000 miles on units. |
