Elbert County EMS is comprised of 19 Full-Time Employees and 17 Part-Time Employees.  Each shift consists of 5 people with 4 crew and a supervisor.  We man 2 Ambulances and a Rescue Truck 24 hours per day with Office personnel able to man an additional 2 ambulances during office business hours. 

In 2011, we responded to 3864 calls of which 1910 or 49% of our total calls resulted in both of our 24 hours ambulances being on calls at the same time.  Our units logged 112,000 miles in total for calendar year 2011.
